As I make my arrangements to head to Ravinia later today to hear Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers (did you know he was a Grammy winning musician, as well as comedian, actor, producer, playwright, author, director?), I cannot help but think how much easier it would be if I lived just steps to the park, or better yet, could hear the sounds of Ravinia from my own backyard!
If you’re looking to live close to Highland Park’s famed concert venue, check out these options…
631 Washington is a bright split level with 3 beds/2 bath, great updates and the cutest little girl’s room I’ve ever seen! Just $362,000 and right in the heart of Ravinia!
809 Timber Hill is a solid 4 bed/2.1 bath ranch in the middle of a fabulous neighborhood, just down Clavey Road from the back entrance of Ravinia. It’s a lot of house for$499,900.
55 Barnard Lane is a 4 bed/2.1 bath updated colonial on a quiet col-de-sac. Highlights include a phenomenal kitchen and a lovely backyard. Offered at $599,000.
950 Stonegate is one of the most interesting homes I’ve seen in a while…it has an indoor pool, gorgeous mosaic backsplash and countertops and sprawling floor plan with 5 beds and 6.2 baths. Listed at $990,000.
248 Ivy Lane is a beautifully renovated Tudor with 4 beds/3.2 baths. It has a finished basement and a screened in porch with ravine views. Loads of charm for $1,249,000.
And if your pockets are really deep, take a look at 105 South Deere Park. This historic, landmark mansion has been meticulously restored, has 7 beds/5.3 baths and boasts view of Lake Michigan from its 2.3 acre site. Offered at $6,950,000.
I’m off to enjoy Ravinia!
