The Port Clinton Art Festival, which has been signaling the end of summer for Highland Park, IL residents for nearly 30 years, is this weekend, August 26th-28th. And, for the fifth consecutive year, the Taste of Highland Park will be held in tandem with this wonderful art fair, which has been ranked on of the  best in the country.

The Taste will kick off at 6 pm on Friday evening and run through 6 pm Sunday. Sixteen Highland Park restaurants will be offering tastes of their food and drink–everything from sweets to sushi! Select restaurants will mark the 5th anniversary of the Taste by featuring “$5 Favorites.”

The Art Festival will run from 10 am to 6 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. 260 juried artists from all around the country will line the streets of downtown Highland Park, offering a variety of different art for sale or just for browsing. Along with incredible food and beautiful and interesting art, constant entertainment will be offered.

So gather your friends and family, and enjoy the Port Clinton Art Festival and The Taste of Highland Park this weekend! Admission and parking are  free.
